On entend parfois dire que "la perfection n'est pas de ce monde", je pense que dans le monde de la musique cette perfection existe, on en est intimement convaincu quand on écoute des virtuoses tel que M. Lugansky.

라흐는 최고지만, 이것 말곤 좀 심심하다 해야하나, 너무 과하지 않게 교과서처럼 치는 게 제 취향이 아니라 좋은 연주더라도 잘 안 찾아 들었는데. 이건 꽤 담백하면서, 차분함 속에 깊이 본질적인 부분까지 툭툭 건드려주는 느낌이 너무 좋네요.

Oh, why does everyone play this piece so S L O W L Y (it's marked Allegretto) and ignore Schubert's phrasing!? ARGGGGGGGGGH!

LOVE the way he plays the sections beginning at 2:55 and 8:45! In fact, the whole interpretation is pretty darn wonderful! Thanks for posting. (Incidentally, in an interview published recently in International Piano magazine, Lugansky said that his favourite among his own recordings were those of Schubert - perhaps not a composer one would immediately associate with him ...)

This piece is one of those I love most. I play it faster. However, Lugansky' s version keeps absolutelly loyal to the spirit of the composition.

I think this might be the best piano piece ever written, for me.

Lugansky has definitely mastered Rachmaninoff's piano masterpieces. The emotion that Rachmaninoff embeded within those pieces, Lugansky successfully interprets.

The video is broken. Every time you move the seekbar or change time through chapters or a time stamp it won't play and even when it does, it lqgs and gets stuck a lot. It probably has to do with the file uploaded, since the other lugansky rach 3 upload in this channel seems to face no issue whatsoever.
